Follow these simple instructions to utilize your Fly Tot with ease and comfort.  Happy Traveling!


1.  MEET YOUR KIT — Inside you'll find everything you need:  Fly Tot cushion, Tiny Pump, charging cable, five nozzles (look for the grey one, that’s the perfect fit for the cushion), strap to hold you cushion together when deflated, and carrying bag.

 

2.  PLACE your Fly Tot cushion on the ground in front of your child’s airplane seat.  The air will expand outward so positioning it first ensures the perfect fit. 

It is important that you place the cushion in the desired area of use, BEFORE you inflate because the Fly Tot will fill the space as it inflates.

3.  CONNECT & INFLATE —  Pull open the clear top valve of your cushion. Attach the grey nozzle to the Tiny Pump, then secure it to that upper valve. Double tap the bottom button of your Tiny Pump to begin inflation. Once the cushion has enough air, give the bottom of your Tiny pump a single tap to stop inflation.


4.   SEAL the valve gently (Don’t overfill!)

DEFLATING is super easy.  Just pull the valve to open and push down to release all the air.

 

TIPS

Tip #1 - To get comfortable with the way it works, we suggest you do a test run at home before the first time you actually fly with the Fly-Tot.

Tip #2 - Do not over-inflate. The Fly-Tot should be nice and firm, but allow a small depression when pressed with your hand.

Over-inflation is a major cause of leaks. Do not inflate with an air compressor or other high pressure pump. This item is designed to be inflated with a high volume of air but at a low pressure.

Tip #3 - Keep away from heat sources. Keep out of direct sunlight when not in use.

Tip #4 - The Fly-Tot is intended to be used during the cruising portion of your flight and not to be used during take-off, landing or turbulence.

Tip #5 - The Fly-Tot is super easy to clean. Damp cloth and water is what we recommend.

  • The Fly Tot's patented design allows you to use the cushion in most economy and premium economy airplane seats, including the bulkhead or bassinet rows. One side is wide, for roomier spaces and one side is narrow, for those tighter seats. You can also place it lengthwise to fit bulkhead rows. 

    You can also use the Fly Tot in cars, trains and buses. It can also be used by adults to elevate the legs and reduce swelling and back pain.

  • “Is The Fly Tot Approved For Us On My Flight, And What Are The Safety Rules?”

    Our team has worked with international airline regulators to ensure the safety of our product for use on flights. The key concern airlines have is making sure the passengers properly use our Fly Tot. Thus we recommend our customer adhere to the following guidelines:

    • The Fly Tot inflatable cushion must not be used during taxi, takeoff or landing.
    • The Fly Tot should only be used on window seats or the middle seat of the center row to avoid blocking the aisle.
    • Your child’s head should not be placed towards the seatback in front of you.
    • Your child should remain securely buckled up at all times, with the seat belt around the torso.

    Please contact your airline prior to purchasing to ensure they will allow the use of the Fly Tot on board your flight. The final decision for use of the product remains with the flight cabin crew.

    Some airlines may also require that your child be moved to a seated position with the seat belt fastened whenever the seat belt sign is illuminated.

  • With the Tiny Pump, the cushion inflates and deflates in under a minute.

  • The Fly Tot was designed for children ages 2-8 years old, so they can stretch their legs onto the inflated Fly Tot cushion and thus lay flat and sleep comfortably on a long flight.

    Adults may also find the Fly Tot cushion can alleviate stress on their legs by allowing them to raise their legs and thus travel more comfortably on long flights.

  • The high quality nylon material is easy to clean. We recommend using a damp cloth and water. DO NOT machine wash or machine dry the cushion.

  • We offer a limited 1-year warranty against defects and workmanship from the original purchase date. This warranty does not cover problems arising from misuse, lack of reasonable care, or overinflation. Proof of purchase is required.
